Unique Visa Services Ltd. is able to provide English Language testing for most UK immigration categories that require people to have a requisite standard of written and spoken English as a condition of obtaining permission for immigration to the UK.
We are registered as a Test Centre with English Management Direct (EMD) and EMD is in turn approved by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) for the provision of language assessments.
We undertake tests by appointment at our premises and the completed assessment is then forwarded to EMD for marking.
EMD’s pass certificates are accepted by the UKBA when presented in support of a relevant UK immigration application.
We offer Tier 2 assessment for Tier 2 (general), sportspeople and intra-company transfers (A1 on the Common European Framework), as well as assessment for those wishing to settle in the UK as either the fiancé(e), proposed civil partner, spouse, civil partner or unmarried partner of a person already settled (A1 on the Common European Framework – speaking and listening elements only).
Should you either require further information about the English Language requirements of the new UK immigration rules, or wish to book a test appointment, please contact us.
City and Guilds English Language assessments are available at the following levels:
- Preliminary (equivalent to A1 Breakthrough on the Common European Framework)
- Access (equivalent to A2 Waystage on the Common European Framework)
- Achiever (equivalent to B1 Threshold on the Common European Framework)
- Communicator (equivalent to B2 Vantage on the Common European Framework)
- Expert (equivalent to C1 EOP on the Common European Framework)
